[ LLOYD LANDESMAN ]

Lloyd played his first paying gig at the age of thirteen. Since that day, it's been quite a journey. In the early "70's, he was a founding member of the New York area group known as Haystacks Balboa and released a self titled album on Polydor records. Shortly thereafter, the group opened for such legendary acts as Rod Stewart and the Faces, Jethro Tull, and Ten Years After.

In the 80's, after performing in several other groups, he went on the road with such luminaries as Edgar Winter and Bruce Springsteen's sax man Clarence Clemons.

After a couple of years on the road, he began his career in Advertising music by writing spots for Sicurella & Smythe. Some of his spots included Nestle "Sweet Dreams" (for white chocolate), Budweiser "Bud Man" (featuring Michael Bolton), CBS Sports Super Bowl XX1 (currently the theme for CBS College Football) and spots for Chevy, Visa, Pepsi, and many more.

In the late 80's he joined the staff at Crushing Music. Some of his work includes Budweiser "Proud to be Your Bud", Dr pepper "Your A Part Of Me", Budweiser "For The Pride", arrangements of Coors Light "Right Beer Now", and spots for Greyhound, Xerox, Amoco, Chevy, Coca Cola, and many more.

In 1993, he started Red House Music. There his spot work included Cheerios "The One and Only", Avis "We're Into the Future", Sprite "Stupid Song", Pennzoil "Winning Color", and spots for Coca Cola, Pringles, KFC, General Mills and more. You can also hear his theme and background music on the syndicated Fox television talk show "Forgive or Forget".

The year 2000 has marked great change. Tired of the many administrative hassles that often go along with owning a business, Lloyd decided to close shop and work free-lance. The response from the ad music community has been overwhelming. He's already penned spots for Crystal Light, GMC, Pfizer, Gaviscon, Toyota and many more. The future looks great for Lloyd Landesman!
